Reality Kings — Read This Before You Sign

Note: Before Your Scene is the editorial arm of My First Scene, our DFW production studio. We write about the industry — including us.

If you’ve been booked for a Reality Kings scene — via an agent, a Miami production contact, or a scout — read this before you sign. RK is a long-running Miami production inside the Aylo network. Its own record includes a 2010 lawsuit brought by the mother of a 15-year-old girl who appeared in RK content, and a $120,000 settlement with Florida A&M University. Its parent network paid $1.845M in federal fines in 2023. Here’s what that means for the release you’re about to sign.

What it is

Reality Kings is a Miami-based adult production brand founded in the early 2000s by RTA Netmedia. The brand is known for “reality”-framed scene premises — shows like Money Talks, We Live Together, Milf Hunter, CFNM Secret, 8th Street Latinas — each built around a scripted situational conceit executed with amateur-feel production.

Manwin (later renamed MindGeek, now Aylo) acquired Reality Kings in September 2012, following an Austrian regulatory filing. Since then, Reality Kings has operated as a flagship subscription brand inside the Aylo network, which also owns Pornhub, Brazzers, Digital Playground, RedTube, YouPorn, and dozens of other properties. In August 2023 the parent rebranded from MindGeek to Aylo following acquisition by Ethical Capital Partners.

Per historical Miami New Times reporting, Jeffrey Greenberg has been identified as a manager of Reality Kings’s Miami operation. The relationship between the Miami production arm and Aylo corporate is not fully disclosed publicly.

How it operates

Booking runs through agency channels and direct industry contacts. Most performers arrive via an agent or through established industry relationships. Reality Kings’s Miami production base means most shoots happen locally; travel and accommodation are typically covered for booked talent.

Shoots follow mainstream studio production flow: paperwork and 2257 first, scripted scene direction, PASS-compliant testing. The reality-styled framing — “we just met this girl” narratives — is scripted and edited. Performers are booked in advance, know what they’re shooting, and sign consent before arrival.

Distribution, critically, spans the entire Aylo network. One Reality Kings scene goes to RealityKings.com, then to Pornhub and sister-site syndication, then to tube aggregators. Breadth of the network is the key fact for weighing the release.

Publicly documented issues
  • 2010 · Sherrita Smalley, mother of a 15-year-old Nevada runaway who performed for Reality Kings under the stage name 'Bieyanka Moore' using falsified identification, filed suit against the company for producing and distributing explicit videos featuring her minor daughter. Wikipedia
  • 2010 · Reality Kings paid Florida A&M University $120,000 to settle a lawsuit over a video allegedly depicting FAMU students. TorrentLawyer
  • December 2023 · Aylo (Reality Kings' parent) entered a deferred prosecution agreement with US federal prosecutors, paying $1.845 million for receiving payments from Girls Do Porn operators it knew or should have known were derived from sex trafficking. Variety
  • September 2025 · FTC and the state of Utah announced a settlement with Pornhub and sister sites (including Reality Kings parent network) over failure to block tens of thousands of videos and photos featuring child sexual abuse material. US Federal Trade Commission
  • Filed 2021, class certified 2025 · Fleites v. MindGeek: federal class action covering individuals whose CSAM appeared on MindGeek-era platforms (including Reality Kings content networks) while they were minors. National Center on Sexual Exploitation

Rate structure

Public pay figures for Reality Kings are not disclosed by the company. Industry reporting places mainstream Miami studio pay in a similar range to Bang Bros: roughly $1,000 to $1,500 per scene for booked amateur-tier talent, higher for established performers, with exclusive contracts available for a smaller roster at undisclosed rates.

Same-day pay at wrap is standard. Payment is typically direct to performer or through an agency, depending on the booking channel.

Contract patterns

Reality Kings releases, like all Aylo-network releases, grant broad distribution rights across the parent network and third-party syndication. The release determines whether that breadth is capped to specific Aylo sites or open-ended across successor entities and assigns.

Because Reality Kings was a standalone company before the 2012 Manwin acquisition, some older releases may have been written against RTA Netmedia terms that have since been assumed by Aylo. For current booked scenes, the release you sign will be under the current corporate entity.

Before signing, verify
  • Exact distribution scope across the Aylo network — specific sister sites, syndication partners, and tube licensing authorized on your scene
  • Current age-verification process on set, given the 2010 documented failure — ask how IDs are verified and the 2257 records handled
  • Whether the release binds successor entities and assigns — Aylo is PE-owned and ownership can change again
  • Which Reality Kings sub-brand (Money Talks, Milf Hunter, etc.) your scene is filed under — each scene title attaches permanently to your stage name
  • PASS testing for every participant, current within industry window, documentation available to you in advance
  • Rate, overage terms, and payment timing in writing before travel is booked
  • Any content-removal or takedown mechanism in the contract — realistic answer at Aylo-network scale is effectively none, so know that before signing
How we do it differently
Reality Kings is a 2010-underage-lawsuit studio inside a 2023-federal-DPA network. That’s not a rhetorical shot — it’s the public record. My First Scene is the opposite shape: small production, no aggregator network, no PE rollup, no permanent trope-brand tagging.
  • No Aylo-scale distribution. Your scene lives on our paysite. Not Pornhub, not tube sites, not sister-brand licensing.
  • One corporate entity, not a holdings portfolio. The entity on your release is the entity operating today and tomorrow.
  • Explicit, documented age-verification. You see the 2257 file we build. It’s not a form you hope they kept.
  • Your stage name is yours, not a trope-brand’s tag. Scenes filed under the name you choose.
  • Written content-removal path and same-day pay direct to you.
