Brazzers — Read This Before You Sign
If your agent has offered you a Brazzers booking, or you’re weighing a Brazzers exclusive, the decision isn’t really about Brazzers alone. It’s about signing your content into the Aylo network — the Montreal conglomerate that also owns Pornhub, Reality Kings, Digital Playground, and the platforms at the center of a $1.8M federal settlement for profiting from trafficked content. Here’s what the public record shows before you sign.

What it is
Brazzers is a premium porn production brand founded in 2005 in Montreal. Production values are among the highest in the industry — scripted concepts, professional crews, studio-grade lighting and cinematography, recognizable performer roster. On shoot quality alone, Brazzers is at the top of the mainstream segment.
Ownership sits inside Aylo, the Montreal conglomerate formerly known as MindGeek. In 2023 MindGeek was acquired by Ethical Capital Partners, a Canadian private-equity firm, and rebranded. Aylo’s properties include Pornhub, Reality Kings, Digital Playground, YouPorn, RedTube, and a large roster of tube and paysite brands. Your Brazzers release is a release into that entire network.
How it operates
Booking runs through agency channels or direct talent submissions. Performers typically travel to Brazzers production locations (historically Montreal and Los Angeles), with travel and accommodation provided for booked talent. Shoots follow mainstream studio production flow: pre-production paperwork, 2257 compliance, scripted scene direction, multi-day shoots for some projects.
Contracts fall into two broad categories: per-scene booking for most performers, and exclusive contracts for a smaller roster. Exclusive contract terms are not publicly disclosed. Industry reporting notes that when exclusivity is on the table, performers should weigh the guaranteed volume against the opportunity cost of being locked out of competing studios.
Once content ships, distribution spans the Aylo network: Brazzers paysite first, then syndication across sister sites and aggregators. The breadth of that network is the key fact for performers — one release, distribution everywhere.

The company agreed to pay $1.845 million in criminal fines and forfeiture for receiving approximately $106,370 from Girls Do Porn operators between 2017 and 2019 — payments Aylo knew or should have known were derived from sex trafficking. Rate structure
Industry reporting places standard Brazzers pay for female performers in mainstream scenes between $800 and $1,500 per scene, with top-tier performers reaching $2,000. More physically demanding scene types command higher rates, up to the $2,500 range for extreme-content categories. Male performers typically receive fixed per-scene rates, generally lower than female rates by industry convention.
Exclusive contract rates are not published. Exclusive performers typically trade higher guaranteed income for restrictions on competing work; the calculus depends entirely on the individual terms.
Contract patterns
Brazzers releases, like all major-studio releases, grant broad distribution rights across the parent network and third-party syndication. For an Aylo-network release, “the network” includes every Aylo property, its licensed partners, and its tube-site syndication chain. The specific language of the release determines whether that breadth is capped or open-ended.
Historical context matters here: Aylo (as MindGeek) was the platform operator during the period when, per the 2023 deferred prosecution agreement, the company received payments from Girls Do Porn that it “knew or should have known” were derived from sex trafficking. A performer signing into the current network should understand what content-handling practices are in force today versus the practices that settled federal charges.
- Exact distribution scope across the Aylo network — which sister sites (Pornhub, Reality Kings, Digital Playground, tube syndication) your scene is authorized for
- Whether the release grants rights to the current Aylo entity only, or also successor entities and assigns — PE-owned studios change hands, your content follows
- Whether any takedown or recall mechanism exists for the performer, given the parent company's documented history of slow CSAM removal
- Current age-verification and content-handling practices in writing — post-DPA, Aylo has formal compliance programs; confirm you're seeing the current version
- If offered an exclusive contract: the specific scenes/per-year guarantee, exclusivity scope, termination rights, and what happens to the content if the contract ends
- STI testing protocol — Brazzers uses PASS; confirm in advance and see test results for all participants
- Rate, overage terms, and payment schedule in writing before travel is booked
- No parent-network syndication. We’re a single production. Your release covers our paysite, period. No Pornhub, no tube sites, no sister-brand licensing in the contract.
- Ownership doesn’t change under you. Independent studio, not private-equity portfolio. Your release lives with the entity you signed with.
- Written content-removal path. Clear process in the contract. Not a policy buried in a corporate compliance program.
- Direct booking, no exclusive lock-in. You can work with us and with anyone else. No multi-year restrictions.
- Same-day pay, direct to you, no agency intermediary on your money.
